- 60.8 Fortnightly Hours. Fixed Term Contract ending 30 June 2021.
- $73,447 per annum pro rata + Super + Leave Loading + Salary Packaging

Post Care Support Services provides case management, counselling, information and advocacy to support people who have lived in care and/or placed under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive of the Department for Child Protection in South Australia as a child for more than six months. This is a free, non-judgmental and confidential service.
The Case Worker / Counsellor responds to the needs of young people and adults who have lived in care (out-of-home-care) in South Australia for a period of 6 months or more. The Case Worker / Counsellor delivers case management, counselling and financial wellbeing support through referrals, information/education, advocacy, and support within a collaborative case management framework. The position also works collaboratively with other Trauma services such as Find & Connect and the Redress Support Services.

- Bachelor’s Degree (AQF Level 7) in Social Work or demonstrated knowledge and competencies appropriate to Social Work.
- Experience working with complex client matters.
- Experience in trauma informed practice.
- A Working with Children Check is essential and employment is not able to commence without a current clearance.
