  • Full time or part time position (60.8 to 76 fortnightly hours). 2 year fixed term position.  
  • $55,000 - $70,000 + Super + Salary Packaging* (to increase your take home pay - plus benefits if relocating from Regional SA or interstate) 
  • Located in Adelaide with potential for flexible working. 
  • Support towards CPA qualification.

Who we are looking for 

This role is ideal for new graduates who are eager to gain more hands on experience, or, a working parent with a solid background in accounting, looking for a rewarding role with flexibility to give you work-life balance.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (AQF Level 7) in accounting or undertaking the final year of this qualification
  • Have knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting techniques as well as internal controls and procedures
  • Experience with computerised financial accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Demonstrated experience with reconciliations and problem solving
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Positive and proactive attitude

 

What you will be doing  

Day to day you will be focus on completing bank reconciliations, managing relevant helpdesk queues and monitoring and verifying accuracy of data from a range of standalone systems and uploading them into the general ledger. You will be raising invoices, preparing and posting journals, assist in BAS, FBT, RTWSA and Superannuation reconciliations and submissions. You will also use and grow your accounting skills to provide support to the Finance team as required.
