  • $83,275 + Super + Salary Packaging* (to increase your take home pay).

Who we are looking for 

The role of the Parenting and Child Case Coordinator is to provide direct services to parents and children after separation and support sustainable outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • An AQF level 7 tertiary qualification, in Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy or Counselling 
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children.  
  • Experience in working with families in crisis or experiencing domestic violence.  
  • Understanding of the effects of trauma on children and adults.  

It would be a bonus if you: 

  • Experience in Family Law and Post Separation. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in Children’s Contact Services. 

 

What you will be doing  

The role of the Parenting and Child Case Coordinator is to provide direct services to parents and children after separation and whilst using Children’s Contact Services to support sustainable outcomes that best support children’s emotional, social and developmental needs. The PACCC will work collaboratively with RASA’s other post-separation, children’s counselling, relationship education and counselling services, to establish effective referral and shared case management strategies, and, as appropriate, to adopt a whole of family approach.  

  • Conduct whole of family child-centred needs assessments, develop case plans, and deliver a range of direct client interventions including provision of information, casework, counselling and referral under general direction from senior employees  

  • Work within the CCS team to provide child consultation and feedback to families. 

  • Provide skilled risk assessment based on DOORS screening and develop family risk mitigation strategies. 

  • Provide case coordination and support to families experiencing FDV.
