Who we are looking for 

We are seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our Information Technology & Data Management team.

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) in IT, Networking or Computer Science or equivalent industry certification. 
  • 2-years or more, working experience as a Service Desk Analyst or on an IT Help desk. 

It would be a bonus if you: 

  • Experience working within an ITIL framework and implementing ITIL best practices and processes.

 

What you will be doing  

The IT Service Desk Analyst is the level-1 support contact for all IT support queries at RASA and involved in installing, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting a medium size technology environment encompassing a combination of Microsoft Windows 10 Workstations, Video Conferencing Technology and Mobile Devices. This role is integral to the smooth operations of the support services across the organisation providing level-1 infrastructure and technological support to RASA staff and students so that high quality operational support is provided to all program and service teams at RASA.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Providing level 1 support to resolve incident, problems and requests;
  • Complying with the company's security and compliance requirements;
  • Provide instruction and support for basic computer and peripheral hardware operation;
  • Create, maintain, and update RASA-specific application information as part of enabling level-0 self-help and user-retrieved information such as User Guides, How-To Instructions pertaining to widely used technologies such as SharePoint, Outlook, android phones, Surface laptops etc.
