Who we are looking for
The Information and Digital Support Officer will be responsible for providing digital literacy support to RASA staff and assisting with applied research and evaluation activities.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Experience in information technology, information systems, science, statistics, or similar.
- Proficient in operating in a Windows based environment and a range of common productivity applications.
It would be a bonus if you:
- Experience as an end user working with various systems.
- Experience as an Advanced user of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
What you will be doing
This role is responsible for monitoring and triaging requests from the organisation to the Information and Digital department servicing two primary areas being applied research and evaluation, and information communication technology.
- Provide application and computing end user support as required.
- Assist with the implementation and support of digital tools, processes, and initiatives.
- Assist with monitoring and meeting upcoming program reporting requirements (such as quarterly reports), and work alongside RASA staff to help meet program funders' requirements.
- Incident management: Identify, investigate, and resolve user issues and requests by problem solving and working with other team members and RASA service teams.
- Provide program/service-specific training to service staff with respect to core applications (Microsoft productivity tools, Penelope) as used by said program/service, especially where this will increase data hygiene and data quality.
