  • Permanent Full-Time Position (76 fortnightly hours)
  • $106,998 Annual Salary + Super + Salary Packaging* (to increase your take home pay)
  • Based across Hindmarsh and Elizabeth
  • 8 Weeks: 4 weeks Paid Leave, 4 weeks Leave Without Pay

Who we are looking for 

We are looking for a proactive and experienced leader with strong case management and supervision skills, who can foster a collaborative team culture and build effective relationships with schools, families, and young people. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of education and wellbeing services, ensuring compliance with Department for Education processes while delivering high-quality support to students.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A degree qualification (AQF level 7) in Social Work, or related field.
  • To comply with Dept of Education requirements in delivering case management services, a Certificate IV in Youth Work, a Bachelor of Psychology or Social Work Degree is essential   
  • Significant experience in working with young people under 18 years of age using a therapeutic case work approach.
  • Significant experience in providing case management.  
  • Significant experience in supervising staff in quality practice outcomes. 

It would be a bonus if you have: 

  • Experience of working with young people in a learning environment.
  • Experience with SACE and other accredited learning e.g. VET course etc.  
  • Experience working with people with autism spectrum disorders, drug and alcohol challenges, and/or mental health concerns.  
  • Qualifications in counselling or therapeutic work.
  • Experience in managing fluctuating resources – staff and funds 

 

What you will be doing  

  •  Lead a collaborative team culture to enable strong and effective working relationships within TLS and across RASA.
  • Support, supervise and monitor all case management activity of TLS clients/students to ensure high quality service and documentation requirements. 
  • Provide operational supervision to all Case Managers within the TLS team, including regular individual supervision, group supervision and recognition of training needs to enable good practice and alignment with School expectations.  
  • Stay up to date with required Department for Education processes to ensure compliance across the team.
  • Liaise with appropriate staff within schools to ensure a strong partnership approach to students, their wellbeing and learning

Salary packing is an entitlement granted by the Federal Government to workers in approved non-government and health organisations. Salary Packaging can increase your take home salary by creating tax free earnings. In effect, $15,899of your wage can be paid tax free in each fringe benefit tax year. This 'tax free' amount is in addition to the tax-free threshold of$18,200for income.
