RASA’s Tailored Learning Services (TLS) are always looking for skilled and enthusiastic Case Managers to join our team. We review applications regularly and will contact shortlisted candidates as opportunities become available. 

  • Locations in Hindmarsh, Elizabeth, Marion & Aldinga
  • $86,398 per annum pro rata + Super + Salary Packaging* (to increase your take home pay)
  • Leave conditions: 4 weeks paid annual leave and 4 weeks of leave without pay (pro rata)

Who we are looking for

The TLS Case Manager collaborates with at-risk youth to set educational and personal goals, addressing challenges to unlock their full potential. Working closely with schools and families, the Case Manager focuses on improving social and emotional well-being while supporting educational and vocational goals. 

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Minimum of Certificate IV (AQF level 4) in Youth Work, or Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Psychology
  • Significant experience in working with at risk young people using a therapeutic case work approach. 
  • Significant experience in providing case management. 
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting young people to enhance social and emotional wellbeing and/or achieve educational and vocational goals.  

It would be a bonus if you have:  

  • Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young people.
  •  Experience working with people with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Qualifications in counselling.
  • Experience working with young people in an education environment.
  • Experience in facilitating activity or therapeutic group programs for youth at risk.
  • Knowledge and/or skills of specific focus areas: e.g., disability, NDIS, Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate. 

 

What you will be doing  

  • Build trust and strong connections with at-risk youth, their families, and schools.
  • Engage with clients through holistic screening and risk assessment, using the DOORS tool to enhance client safety and facilitate effective casework support.
  • Provide client-centered and trauma-informed case management for young individuals, conducting face-to-face appointments in a community or hub-based settings.
  • Maintain accurate records of casework interactions in the RASA client management system and relevant government reporting systems.
  • Demonstrate initiative in delivering casework, adapting to meet the needs of both young people and program requirements.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure coordinated case management that supports client well-being and learning outcomes.
  • Actively participate in the TLS team, contributing to the program's development and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

*How Salary Packaging can increase your take home pay 

Salary packing is an entitlement granted by the Federal Government to workers in approved non-government and health organisations. Salary Packaging can increase your take home salary by creating tax free earnings. In effect, $15,899of your wage can be paid tax free in each fringe benefit tax year. This 'tax free' amount is in addition to the tax-free threshold of$18,200for income.
