Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a detail orientated P&D Assistant who will support the HR and Payroll functions. This role is essential in maintaining RASA’s payroll accuracy and supporting HR initiatives including recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement.
What you will be doing
- Support the accurate and timely end to end processing of payroll of all RASA staff
- Generate payroll reports and assist with payroll audits as needed
- Maintain employee files, ensuring integrity of data and confidentiality
- Support the recruitment process – e.g. shortlisting, booking interviews
- Support onboarding and offboarding process for employees
- Respond to employee enquiries and provide general P&D support
- Assist in the organising of training sessions and workshops
- Assist with WH&S tasks and initiatives
- Administration of Students and Volunteers
- General administration
- Engage in positive teamwork with other team members and the wider corporate team to promote consistency of best practice across RASA.

To be successful in this role
For this position, ideally you will have:
- High level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing
- Demonstrated experience working in HR administration
- A Bachelor’s degree (AQF level 7) in Human Resources, or significant progress in working towards
