Who we are looking for 

We are looking for an experienced and proactive leader who is passionate about workforce development and skilled in coordinating training, employment, and community engagement initiatives across regional areas.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Tertiary qualifications at AQF level 7 in education, social sciences or related field and/or significant demonstrated experience and acquired knowledge that would be otherwise achieved through formal education.
  • Certificate IV or above in a Training and Education (TAE) qualification (such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Diploma of Vocational Education and Training) or willingness to achieve this within months.
  • Experience delivering and assessing VET community services qualifications.
  • Experience working with industry stakeholders in the development and delivery of workforce development programs. 

It would be a bonus if you have: 

  • Experience working in employment services programs.
  • Experience working with disadvantaged learners and developing tailored support plans. 

 

What you will be doing  

The Regional Coordinator oversees the daily operations of RASA’s Workforce Development Hub, leading a small team to deliver training, employment, and career development opportunities across the region. This role coordinates and delivers workforce development activities, including case management, skills training, qualifications, and work experience, while collaborating with local stakeholders to design tailored solutions that strengthen skills and employment pathways. The Coordinator also builds relationships with community organisations, employers, and government partners to identify regional workforce needs and ensure high-quality, responsive service delivery.
