Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) in Social Sciences, Law, or the equivalent experience.
- Experience in managing complex client needs.
- Experience in working with children.
- Experience in supervision of staff
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Understanding of and experience working within the Family Law Environment
- Significant knowledge of child development and parent-child attachment.
- Significant knowledge of screening for and responding to domestic violence.
What you will be doing
The Senior Children’s Contact Service (CCS) Practitioner provides leadership and operational support across Northern, Western, and Eastern sites. They guide CCS leaders, ensure high-quality client services, support staff across sites, and drive service improvements. The role includes weekend on-site support, case coordination, and weekly handovers to maintain consistent, effective service delivery.
