Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced and values driven leader who is confident managing people, operations, and complex clinical work within a busy Children’s Contact Service environment. The ideal candidate is a supportive and decisive professional who can lead with empathy, foster a strong team culture, and advocate for children and families while ensuring high quality, compliant service delivery.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or counselling, or the equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a team
- Experience in Child Centered approach
- Experience in working with Aboriginal communities, families and services
- Experience in working with families and children experiencing domestic violence
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Extensive experience in a Children’s Contact Service environment
What you will be doing
- Supervise and manage the operational work of the CCS and oversee efficient functioning of services.
- Provide direct clinical services to families and children accessing the CCS.
- Develop and maintain operational activities (e.g. planning, monitoring and reporting) of the CCS programs within the long term program goals of the funder and RASA.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to supervisors and staff and co-case manage clients assessed as the most complex.
- Provide advice on Post Separation service innovations, and CCS service structure.
- Conduct role development and clinical support to CCS supervisors.
- In conjunction with the Regional Manager, evaluate team skill levels and plan for the development of skills within the team and continuous improvement in service delivery, staff morale and team culture.
