Who we are looking for

We are looking for a detail-focused professional who is passionate about supporting AISR’s strong culture of compliance, quality and accountability as a Registered Training Organisation. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive and ethical approach to compliance, ensuring regulatory obligations are met while helping embed clear, practical and sustainable compliance practices across AISR’s operations.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in business, compliance, training administration, quality assurance or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a Registered Training Organisation, with strong practical knowledge of RTO compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Experience coordinating audits, regulatory reporting or compliance monitoring activities.
  • Experience working with complex data sets and maintaining accurate records in regulated environments.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with AVETMISS, NCVER, VSL or Skills SA reporting.
  • Experience contributing to continuous improvement or quality assurance frameworks within education or community services

What you will be doing

The Compliance Officer (AISR) is responsible for coordinating and maintaining key regulatory, compliance and reporting functions for the Australian Institute of Social Relations (AISR) as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Working under the general direction of the Team Leader, this role ensures that AISR’s RTO compliance obligations are met consistently and transparently, with a strong focus on data integrity, regulatory reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.

The role complements existing Programs and Compliance Officer positions by providing specialist oversight, interpretation and coordination of RTO compliance requirements, and by leading core reporting and documentation processes.

The role supports AISR’s sustainability and quality outcomes by embedding sound compliance practices into day-to-day operations and supporting staff to meet regulatory expectations with confidence.
