Who we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Salesforce professional who enjoys solving problems and delivering practical, sustainable system improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes ownership, and is passionate about building internal capability and supporting continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) in information technology, information systems or related discipline or equivalent experience in the field of information technology.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and its capabilities, with a focus on no-code and low-code configuration, administration, user support and declarative solution design.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience working with Salesforce in a functional consulting, administration or development focused role, ideally within a Nonprofit Cloud environment
- Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, testable functional requirements, user stories and process flows.
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience deploying changes across multiple environments, from development and testing through to production, ensuring smooth and successful releases.
- Relevant Salesforce certification
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud
What you will be doing
The Salesforce Functional Consultant (Administrator) for the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud at RASA is responsible for strengthening RASA’s internal capability to configure, maintain and support Pirkutu (Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud) as a core operational system.
Working in partnership with RASA Business Analysts, the role translates approved business requirements into practical, sustainable Salesforce configuration outcomes, ensuring alignment between business intent and system behaviour. The role provides hands-on platform capability across configuration, administration, release management support and issue resolution, addressing the gap between business analysis and technical delivery.
A key focus of the role is to reduce reliance on external implementation partners for day-to-day changes, while embedding strong internal practices for configuration, support, documentation and governance. Through practical delivery and knowledge transfer, the role contributes to a more resilient, self-sufficient Applications function that can support ongoing stabilisation, continuous improvement and future platform evolution.
